Hours ahead of The Oscars 2016, Okayplayer's own Frank Longo presents the official Pass The Popcorn picks for the 88th Annual Academy Awards. The list of projections lands in just enough time to prep movie buffs for the televised ceremony hosted by Chris Rock, which airs this Sunday on ABC. The internets have been hot about The Oscars since the initial announcement of the 2016 nominees. The subsequent rise of the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag protesting The Oscars' lack of diversity only served to fan the flames. Taking the discussion out of the Twitterverse for just a moment, we felt it was time for the people behind The Boards to speak. Our resident film experts have been gracious enough to drop gems with a full breakdown of their choices for Hollywood's biggest chip as well as the results for the 9th Annual Spilled Latte Awards - a formidable counter to the official nods that "highlights how ridiculous the overwhelming whiteness of this year's Oscars" truly is with a well-rounded list of nominees. Click through the pages below to check out the official Pass The Popcorn predictions for the 88th Annual Academy Awards. Stay tuned for the official winners of the Spilled Latte Awards.
