Baltimore's bike-crew scene is something of an unspoken narrative in the city that claimed The Wire, but Lotfy Nathan's 12 O'Clock Boys seeks to mythologize and embellish upon that hushed roar with a true-to form doc that portrays a 13 year-old boys come-up in the notorious Baltimore gauntlet. This isn't David Simon's dissertation on corrupt politicians/police officers & a failing education system, rather an homage to the resilience of those entrenched in the city's ruthless street-culture.
