Outkast's "Ms. Jackson" Gets Muppet-ized Because...The Internet

Outkast's "Ms. Jackson" Gets The Muppets Treatment Because The Internet

It seems we can never go more than a few week's time without The Muppets (or just muppets in general) popping up to put their spin on some bonafide hip-hop classics. Conventional internet wisdom leads us to believe this is damn-near science at this point. But whatever your take on The Muppets' ability to go viral in clockwork fashion, you gotta give it to em for their selections.

Recently, we've seen and heard muppet-ized versions of A Tribe Called Quest's anthem "Scenario" (RIP Phife Diggy,) as well as equally animated takes on Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "Tha Crossroads" (read the secret history for that here) and Ol Dirty Bastard's "Shimmy Shimmy Ya." Today, these legends of a bygone era resurface with their eyes and ears fixed on the south. Namely, Outkast's unfuckwitable "Ms. Jackson," with Gonzo taking on Andre 3000's croon and Hermit donning the drawl of Big Boi; a natural fit if there were ever one. You can watch The Muppets go to work on Outkast's beloved Stankonia smash down below, but if you're looking to get acquainted with the real Ms. Jackson, we've got just the thing.
