Gotta say, Netflix has been absolutely killing the music doc game as of late. But it appears they're far from done with their musical programming, as they've just announced that the Organized Noize documentary, The Art Of Organized Noize, will soon see its day on screen big and small next month. Premiering officially at SXSW this year, the doc charts the rise of Sleepy Brown, Rico Wade and Ray Murray as a fiercely unique production team, famously sculpting sounds for OutKast, TLC, Goodie Mob and the whole Dungeon Family, putting Atlanta on the map and giving rise to The South's slow-cooked and slurred funk. The doc features interviews with Big Boi, Andre 3000, Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Cee-Lo Green, LA Reid, Puff Daddy and plenty more, all declaring Organized Noize as the supreme team, proliferating their iconic sounds across the globe, live and direct from Stankonia.
Bear witness to the rise of Organized Noize in the official trailer for the Netflix-exclusive documentary The Art Of Organized Noize below and tune-in March 22nd to see the full script on Netflix. Those wondering whether the fellas are still equipped to cook need not look any farther than their recent stint on Rhythm Roulette.
