With all of the acclaim Anderson .Paak has garnered over the last year, it’s easy to forget just what set off the powder keg: his all-too-right collaborative project NxWorries with the ever-prolific, Knxwledge. In fact, it was their lead-off single “Suede” that caught Dr. Dre’s attention at first and cemented his slot as copilot to Compton, setting him up proper for his breakthrough Malibu LP.
But I’m sure we’re not the only ones who have been extending the Malibu journey with some NxWorries vibes. And so, as yet another brilliant addition to the NxWorries legacy, the duo has just released a new clip for the liquid late-night joint that is “Link Up,” set in a surreal bodega with appearances from young Earl Sweatshirt and comedian Eric Andre. With plenty of booze and blunts on-hand, Paak & Knxw put out a call to the bad ones and offer us the perfect audiovisual experience to wind down the day. Watch the new video for “Link Up” below and grab a copy of their EP on iTunes or cop the wax at Stones Throw today. A full-length project is en route. So brace yourself, world. NxWorries cometh.
