Parisian singer LAFAWNDAH kills in the mix for FADER while RBMA Radio drops a huge mix from the Larry Levan Street Party and DJ Young EZ closes things out with a classic hip-hop mix.

James Blake is back in the saddle with the latest mix for his monthly residency with BBC Radio 1. The 2-hour mix features a bunch of choice cuts and an exclusive peek at a new track called "Bell" from an artist named Nat King Scrondle. Josh wink mixtape

Philly DJ and Ovum Recordings co-founder Josh Wink kills the dancefloor during a set at Holland's club Patronaat. The set features tracks released by the label founded by Wink and partner King Britt. The mix comes ahead of Wink's upcoming gig at the Mysteryland USA festival on May 24th in Upstate New York. Josh Wink talked about the set and his approach to rocking crowds in a recent interview with Rolling Stone:

"This mix was recorded live and was hour one of a three-hour set," Wink tells Rolling Stone. "I love to take the audience on the journey, and early in the night is a great time for me to explore the deeper side of my music and to start telling the story of the evening."

AFRICA IN YOUR EARBUDS CARLOS MENA

Africa In Your Earbuds returns with DJ Carlos Mena in the mix for the 52nd edition of the ongoing series. The BEMBE founder and Ocha and Ocha Mzansi Records head brings the heat with an hour-long mix that features joints from Black Coffee, Fela Kuti and more. Mena described the massive mix in conversation with Okayafrica:

“The selections on this mix represent what is currently playing in my studio during breaks,” Carlos describes, “From the extremely funky Sofi Hellborg tune to the poignant Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach collaboration “All Africa,” drums and percussion is the sometimes not so subtle theme. Each tune here feeds my spirit in it’s own way and I hope it does the same for you.”

DJ's François Kevorkian, David DePino and Joey Llanos recently teamed with Jocelyn Brown to rock the massive https://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/events/nyc-2014-larry-levan-street-party">Larry Levan Street Party for Redbull Music Academy. The huge event was thrown in honor of the DJ, whose epic Saturday Mass sessions during the 80's at NYC's Paradise Garage have become the stuff of legend. The party thrown in honor of Levan was thrown in support of a petition to rename a section of King Street Larry Levan Way. Check the track below to listen to the full mix from the May 11th event.
