DJ Big Texas dropped the goods with these N.W.A.-themed mixes in commemoration of Straight Outta Compton. Here it is, in his own words:

ITS AN N.W.A. WEEKEND WITH THE PREMIERE OF THE MOVIE STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON (IN THEATERS) Straight Outta Compton is the debut studio album by American hip hop group N.W.A, released August 9, 1988 on group member Eazy-E's record label Ruthless Records. Production for the album was handled by Dr. Dre with DJ Yella giving co-production. The album has been viewed as the pioneering record of gangsta rap with its ever-present profanity and violent lyrics. It has been considered groundbreaking by music writers and has had an enormous impact on the evolution of West Coast hip hop.

THA MUTHAFUKKIN' SAGA CONTINUES!!...DJ BIG TEXAS IS BACK AT CHA WITH ANOTHER SPECIAL EDITION FROM THE N.W.A. DJ White Shadow threw down a vivrant mix for Lexdray, and it's a decidedly uptempo electro affair.

DJWS has deftly created a bassline house-flavored tribute to Honolulu for his entry as the 50th installment in Lexdray’s hallowed City Series of mixes. Packed with classics and fresh hotness alike, White Shadow takes listeners on a raucous but sleek-sounding odyssey through the wide realm of bass-driven house music new and old. This is a mix to unite househeads once and for all, with the lovely islands playing as mental, if not physical, backdrop.

Age's "Owl Sessions" tape is a bit dusty and plenty eclectic.

This mix was hosted on the Nerdtorious site, home of David Ma (Nerdtorious, Wax Poetics, egotripland). It's a mixtape pure, simple and full of raps that are classics! It'll either make you feel old, feel a bit nostalgic or introduce you to something new.

Minneapolis producer and DJ su na put together a lovely little mix for Nest HQ, one that he calls "a transparent look into what's been moving me lately. It's also sort of a hint to a new direction with my music. I’ve been spending less energy on following trends and more on creating a clear representation of myself. I think producing with that intention, combined with consistency and patience, usually results in a dope product."
