Buddy – Harlan & Alondra
Rising L.A. spitter Buddy drops his highly-anticipated twelve-track Harlan & Alondra project featuring A$AP Ferg, Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla $ign, Khalid and Guapdad 4000.
Space Monk – God Slam It!
Space Monk follows lead single “Drooms” with the release of the six-track God Slam It! EP, driven by quirky, spacious production and cheeky bars that prove he raps as well as he sings.
Micah Robinson – Experimental Acetaminophen
On Experimental Acetaminophen, singer and multi-instrumentalist Micah Robinson wades into the harmonic territory of the Singers Unlimited as easily as he unleashes the grunge-adjacent soul vocal that’s found him sharing stages with Bilal.
Ben Hixon – Living Quarters
Dallas producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Hixon follows four installments of the 80s & Gospel instrumental series with Living Quarters, an eight-track house excursion that boasts minimal percussion and one feature from Mike Mitchell.
Caleb Brown – Brown EP
Baton Rouge representative and rising spitter Caleb Brown lends his rock solid flow to the autobiographical, five-track Brown EP, produced by Sonny Digital.
Maiya Norton – The Very Black Project: Mix 02 [Infatuation]
Maiya Norton takes the reigns for second mix from The Very Black Project, entitled Infatuation. The one-hour set inspired by “that summertime feeling” features tracks from IAMNOBODI, NxWorries, Galimatias, DJ Harrison x Sir Froderick, The Internet, Sonder, Khruangbin and more.
Federico Martínez Penna – Malaysian Crates (1974-1984)
Argentina’s Federico Martínez Penna presents the latest in his World Crates mix series with an “all-female, funk and disco-pop mix from Malaysia” that explores music released in the country from 1974 to 1984.
DJ Nate Geezie – Gummy Bears
DMV fixture DJ Nate Geezie follows Guy and Mary J. Blige tribute sets with Gummy Bears. The electronic mix features tracks from Mura Masa, Zedd, Reva Devito, NAO, Joyce Wrice and more.
DJ Mr. Lob – The Latin 45 Throwdown Pts. 1 & 2
DJ Mr. Lob drops the second installment of The Latin 45 Throwdown, recorded live at SPQR Pizzeria in Melbourne.
Recorded live at SPQR Pizzeria in Melbourne on a Thursday night in March 2018, this is Part 2 of a 3 hour Dj set of my favourite Latin 45s spanning multiple Latin genres. I’m no expert on Latin music and just buy and play what I love and throw it all into the mix together.
DJ Junior & Lil’ Dave – Eavesdrop Radio #386
DJ’s Junior and Lil’ Dave take listeners into the wide world of broken beat for Episode #386 of the Eavesdrop Radio podcast. Packed with top-notch tunes, the mix includes tracks from Taylor McFerrin, Bugz In The Attic, Domu, Rhian Benson, Soil & Pimp Sessions, Henry Wu, Afronaught and more.
