Socialite and all-around cool gal, Va$htie, pays tribute to a handful of stellar Capricorn women, including Sade and Aaliyah14KT lets loose a crazy load of collaborative tracks, while Lushlife challenges the status quo with an interdisciplinary mixtape of new music to benefit the ACLU. Hannah.Faith - FEELS FADER Mix

Dealing exclusively in high vibrational sound, Hannah.Faith serves up the 1-hour FEELS mix for FADER, featuring tracks from Kaytranada, Solange, LAKIM, Afro Cuban Jazz Project, CYGN, Freddie Joachim, Stro Elliot and more. Hannah.Faith dropped this set with a message about the music:

"Feels was carefully curated to bring a feel good energy into the new year, exploring various sounds and merging them together to create a storytelling piece. A journey through the hardship we have faced. The realizations. The love shared. The joyous moments. I feel liable to create straight from the heart, and keep it as real and as raw as possible, I want these mixes to reflect the times of now and all the positive attributes our generation has to offer. The club bangers can be amazing and all but I want to push the not so highlighted artists who are geniuses. No pressure, just good music."

Va$htie - #ONE16GOAT Mix

NYC’s Downtown Girl, Va$htie, celebrates “influential and iconic Capricorn women” with the #ONE16GOAT mix honoring Sade, Aaliyah, FKA Twigs and Kate Moss; all of them celebrated birthdays on January 16th. The title of the mix conjures not only the animal associated with the Capricorn zodiac sign, but the acronym for "greatest of all time" - something, it could be argued, almost all of them have in common. This mix also happens to be an absolute dream for fans of chill r&b classics.

Georgia-bred spitter Jonah Cruzz follows the 2015 Cruzz Control EP with the Just To Get By mixtape. The 14-track release is free of features, allowing Cruzz to shine without distraction. Lending his drawl and candor to the mix, Cruzz serves up a slice of life on each cut as he moves deftly between spitting hard and crooning over ticking percussion. Lushlife - Idols + Enemies Mixtape

Producer Lushlife serves up some food for thought with the Idols + Enemies mixtape. Squarely at the intersection of arts and activism, the tape formally titled My Idols Are Dead + My Enemies Are In Power features contributions from Killer Mike, Moor Mother, Billy Woods, Jedediah Purdy, Zilla Rocca, Sut Jhally, Little Strike and Mike Eagle. Proceeds from the sale of the tape benefit the ACLU. Lushlife breaks down the finer points of the project:

November’s dystopian presidential election sent all of us looking for answers. My Idols Are Dead + My Enemies Are In Power brings together artists, activists, and academics to explore how we got here, and what to do next. We stand with poor folks, Muslims, people of color, the LGBTQ community, and all Americans against any attack on our civil rights.
