Minnie starred in the Lifetime reality television series Little Women.

Ashley Ross, better known as "Minnie" from the Lifetime reality TV show Little Women, has passed away.

Ross' management team released a statement about her death on her Instagram account, where it was revealed that she succumbed to injuries after a tragic hit-and-run car accident on Monday. She was 34.

"It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today, April 27th at the age of 34," the statement reads. "The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."

According to a report from CNN, the accident Ross was invovled in took place in Atlanta around 11 p.m. Sunday. She died nearly 24 hours later at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Since her passing, co-stars from the Little Women series, as well as fans, have reacted to the news of Ross' passing. Many shared scenes from the show that led to Minnie becoming a meme and GIF sensation on social media. Last year, an image of Minnie alongside an image of social media star Queen Quen became a popular meme referred to as the "me explaining" meme.
