Audio: Miguel - "How Many Drinks"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.Miguel - Kaleidoscope Dream (album cover art)

One of the tastier concoctions from Miguel's imminently forthcoming LP Kaleidoscope Dream(stream it right here and pre-order it here via iTunes) has leaked (splashed?) onto the web today, namely the wistful seduction song "How Many Drinks." With a melancholy guitar line ever-so-slightly reminiscent of Sade's "Lover's Rock" (we know he gots love for Miss Adu, because he drew her portrait on his t-shirt) but with a quicker tempo and jazzier movement to it, this lyric pretty much certifies the idea that a soul singer's job is to express--with more class, artful phrasing and emotional depth--what remains unsaid in the hearts of us mortal men.
