Miguel Talks With BET + The Breakfast Club

Miguel stopped by BET's 106 & Park this week to discuss the importance of their Music Matters program as one of its most notable alums. He touched on his own artistic inspiration, recent accolades and the unfortunate events surrounding the Boston Marathon. He expressed a great amount of concern for the victims and all of the organizations involved in the race. The discussion progressed to touch on the singer's evolution as an artist and budding fashion icon - the hosts touting praise Miguel received from Mariah Carey ahead of his recent punk-inspired Saturday Night Live performance. He also talked about how cool it was to work on the video for J. Cole's single "Power Trip." Miguel continued the discussion backstage, where he addressed rumors that there might be beef between he and Frank Ocean. He responded by praising Ocean's work and suggested they collaborate in the future. Miguel also stopped by Power 105 during his time in NYC to chat with The Breakfast Club.
