Method Man Is Walter White In The Video For New Single "The Meth Lab"
This past week inarguably belongs to Method Man. First we got hit with a little cartoon madness in the surprise teaser/announcement for his forthcoming The Meth Lab LP. Then the full track was relinquished unto the masses, and now we have the first official clip for the album's title-track in its menacing visual treatment, which finds Mef taking over Walter White's makeshift cook operation in an old garage. While it appears that his Crystal Meth LP is still in the lab, so to say, this new project will feature those artists Mef feels deserved of shine, like Hanz On and Streetlife, both of which make appearances on the all-too-tuff lead-off single. That's not to say we won't see any familiar faces on the record as partners-in-rhyme Redman, Raekwon and Instectah Deck are slated to make appearances on the new record as well. The Meth Lab will be arriving on August 21st via Tommy Boy Records and will do so in various forms. The record will, of course, be available digitally, but will also see vinyl pressings on a collectable 2xLP and a more than fitting crystal blue gatefold.
