Maxwell is getting set to hit the high Caribbean seas for a nautical concert-going experience (certainly unlike any we've come across) and he's bring his whole realm along for the ride. Cause what's a vacation without good company? According to Billboard, the relatively recently resurged soul singer will be bringing along a hefty list of fellow neo-soul luminaries like Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Ledisi, Chrisette Michelle, Eric Roberson, Daley, Leela James, The Wailers and so many more to join him on the inaugural run of his Maxwell & The 7 Seas Concert Cruise.
The event will be hosted by Royal Caribbean on May 3-10th of 2015 and it will be a massive affair, utilizing 8 stages aboard the cruise line's Freedom Of The Seas vessel. DL Hughley will also be joining the festivities for those looking for a few more smiles. The venues will apparently range from intimate piano dives to immense multitiered theaters, giving you the option to go all in or have a quieter evening if need be. Get ready to take a tour of St. Maarten, St. Thomas and the private island of Cococay with Maxwell as your guide. Ticketing information has yet to surface, but you know exactly where to find it when it does.
