Marvel Flips Mos Def, Run DMC, Souls Of Mischief & More In Latest Batch Of Remix Covers
Marvel shook up the comic book world last week in announcing that acclaimed author Ta-Nahesi Coates would be taking over the pen in a relaunch of its legendary (and arguably illest) storyline, Black Panther. And today, as a warm-up for that all-too-fitting changing of the guards, the comic book giant has revealed its latest batch of remix covers for the picture-box obsessed hip-hop enthusiast to drool over. This week's round-up, which will inevitably be followed-up later this week, calls on some the greats, fitting iconic covers of album's from Tupac, Mos Def, Run DMC, Souls Of Mischief and Jay Z with some of their hallmark animated edge. Strictly 4 My N***** dons Hell's Kitchen's visually-impaired (or is it enhanced?) Daredevil. The New Danger is reimagined with superheroine Silk, The Black Album sees Black Panther's T'Challa under the midnight-black cap, Souls Of Mischief's heroic debut adopts the X-Men and King Of Rock finds the MCU most animated pairing peeking into your brains with Groot and Rocket of Guardians Of The Galaxy getting the nod. It's another fine crop of remix covers to hold you over until these things finally see the light of day next month, when they'll officially be available for you to purchase on stands. Comb thought the new haul down below and jump back to peep all of the Marvel scripts that have been flipped over the last few months.
