Minister Louis Farrakhan Speaks On NOI Beginnings, Power Of Youth, Music & More On 'The Breakfast Club'

When it comes to interviewing Minister Louis Farrakhan, it's always kind of a crapshoot as to what the man may say, what controversy he's looking to incite, which hot-button topics he's looking to hit head-on for his legion at the NOI. And while you may assume that the man --now 82-- may have lost a step or two over the years, a recent interview with The Breakfast Club proved otherwise, as he delved into an early career in Calypso, his dissatisfaction with the Christian church's aversion of racial issues and a chance witnessing of one of Malcolm X's fiery sermons, all of which led him to Islam and an early leading role in the NOI, not forgetting to throw shots at President Obama for his use of the term "thugs" in describing Baltimore protestors in the wake of 25-year-old Freddie Gray's murder. He also spoke a bit on the inevitability of a second Million Man March (which he claims to be organizing already) and a slew of government conspiracies that he felt compelled to chime in on. You can watch part one of The Breakfast Club's interview with Louis Farrakhan below, just be sure to keep you head on a swivel for part deux and what he'll say next.
