The First United States "Weed Cafe" Officially Opened in Los Angeles

West Hollywood's Lowell Cafe offers burgers, wraps, and desserts, as well as a wide selection of cannabis products.

The United States officially has its first cannabis cafe.

The Lowell Cafe, located in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday (October 2nd.) The cafe enforces a two-hour table time limit and features cannabis products ranging from flower, concentrates, and edibles to free accessories like grinders, wraps, and vapes.

The cafe is stocked by the Lowell Herb Company, which is stocked in 350 stores around California and offers delivery services. The Cafe reportedly features a $200,000 ventilation system that funnels aromatherapeutic oils throughout the building.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the restaurant's investors include celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson, Sarah Silverman, and Chris Rock.
