It's the Monday after one of the biggest music and film festivals in the country has come to a close, which means while you were reaching for your venti non-fat soy latte to get the day started, we here at Okayplayer were busy rounding up the best highlights from SXSW's final days for you to enjoy over your morning coffee. In this installment, Earl Sweatshirt makes his SXSW debut with his newly-video'ed single "Whoa" with his buddy Flying Lotus AKA Captain Murphy fulfilling DJ duties. As Tyler, the Creator's intro vocals start up, Earl asks the crowd if they've "heard this shit before," to which they reply with requisite cheering - but that's about as live as the audience gets during the clip. Or maybe it's just hard for us to see over the extremely deep media pit at the front of the stage? Either way, Earl's performance definitely made for a solid entrance into the festival, despite what seems like a very low-energy reception from fans. Check out Earl's performance of "Whoa" with Flying Lotus below, and stay tuned for more post-SXSW coverage.
