Here in NYC, Funk Flex dropped a bomb on the opening of his drive-time set last night over a haunting orientalist wail followed by a huge dancehall riddim. The sound was the building-flattening introductory bars of Busta Rhymes and Vybz Kartel's "Wine & Go Down" (listen below) a summer smash in the making if there ever was one.
