Large Professor Returns With The Old School-Style Gem "Opulence"

Legendary hip-hop producer Large Professor has returned to the teaching lectern, dropping the beautiful new single "Opulence" off his upcoming Re:Living Legend LP. With its piano, upright bass, dusty drums, and classic Steve Miller Band sample, the cut is a refreshing bit of old-school sound that comes at a time when modern producers continue to push outward from hip-hop's roots. We're also treated to Large Professor himself on the mic, and the beatsmith behind classic material such as Nas's "Halftime" and A Tribe Called Quest's "Keep it Rolling" casually strolls down memory lane, recalling the little quotidian moments in life that prove how much things have changed (we're extra-thankful for the Live At the Barbeque check). "Opulence" is the third single off of Re:Living, an album that will also include the cuts "In The Scrolls" ft. G-Wiz and the Fortune-assisted "Own World." This new single is right in step with both those numbers, and has us chomping at the bit for Re:Living Legend's full release. News on its exact release date has yet to be shared, so for now kick back and enjoy the beauty of "Opulence" and keep it locked for the next move from Large Professor.
