KOTA the Friend Drops "Lawn Chair," The First Single From His Upcoming EP

Despite what some might think, there's a nice crop of quality MCs coming out of New York City, especially the Brooklyn area.

Add KOTA the Friend to that list of Brooklyn MCs you should be checking for. He just dropped "Lawn Chair," the first single from his upcoming project. Milk premiered the track.

And while Kota is an NYC rapper, he tells a very different kind of story on this track: the song is about being stranded in the California desert. It's a pretty dope, soulful track. Give it a listen below.
