KOOL A.D. links with his right hand producer-man Amaze 88 and lo-fi funkateer Toro Y Moi in the visual for "The Front" off his Word OK LP. The track finds 88 stepping out from behind the boards and delivering some goof raps (sure to bring a smile to even the most stoic of dispositions) while Toro's croon holds down that breezy hook and your boy A.D. spitting those nonsensical rhymes. These Toro-produced sonics evoke the fondest of backpacker memories (with a clear nod to A Tribe Called Quest)strutting a cooled-out rhodes-based loop and bouncy low-end for the heads to get with.

With all that ear candy afoot, it seems only proper for the clip to follow suit, proving once more that this left-field hip-hop ish doesn't always have to be that sad.
