“Some new electronic garbage I made.”
It’s getting increasingly difficult to define just what King Krule is/does as a musician in the year of our lord 2016. He’s released music under a wide array of aliases, most recently under his government name, Archy Marshall, with the sleeper suite A New Place To Drown, which was easily one of 2015’s best, despite its late arrival.
But even with the sneak release, Krule or Arhie or whatever the hell you want to call him, has been far less visible than even before that album’s arrival, likely working on his next project in exile, away from these busy internets. That said, Krule made a rare appearance on Boiler Room TV, where he filled a smokey crimson-lit room with heads and frequencies, even taking the opportunity to debut a few new cuts from the behind the boards. Boiler Room, of course, captured the whole damn thing, which is available for your eyes and ears to feast down below. Watch as King Krule takes to Boiler Room TV as Edgar The Beatmaker and hold tight for his next transmission, whatever moniker it may come under.
