With Summer rapidly drawing to a close ("What do you mean Labor Day is next week??"), we brought out some heavy hitters for this week's Mixtape Mondays. Namely: DJ Ayres & DJ Eleven (who've been throwing "The Rub" parties for a decade now and show no signs of slowing down), the legendary Kenny Dope (dropping another [dope] hip-hop mix) and Ezel laces us with something for all you boogie-loving two-steppers.
DJ Ayres & DJ Eleven - The Rub Radio, August 2012:

"The Rub" party has already solidified li'l Ayres & Joe Eleven's place in New York City nightlife history and their latest mix for the August edition of Rub Radio shows why. Ayres & Eleven keep the energy high on this mix of their current favorites, which is as hot and sweaty as one of their parties in the summertime.
Kenny Dope doesn't drop enough mixes on his Soundcloud page, which is to say very one he has dropped's proved to be a must-hear. The latest is no exception. Crammed full of menacing beats accompanied by the likes of Lord Finesse, Nas, Large Professor, and Percee P, the Master At Work proves once again that title is well-earned.

Ezel "Boogie For Two"
Ezel - Boogie For Two:
Ezel's remix credits read like a who's who of soulful dance music (Tortured Soul, Osunlade, Atjazz, Daz-I-Kue, Jeremy Ellis) so it comes as no surprise that the Dominican Republic-born producer and DJ would be able to hold down a classic boogie mix. Featuring gems from Logg, Rene & Angela, The Jones Girls and more, "Boogie For Two" is no misnomer - grab someone and take 'em out to the dance floor for this one.
