Kendrick Lamar Reveals 'TPAB' Influences, Tour Plans, Favorite MC + More In Twitter AMA
Never one for the social media game, Kendrick Lamar took to his Twitter account last night for an impromptu AMA-styled Q&A session last night, divulging some tidbits about his insta-classic To Pimp A Butterfly LP. Short, but sweet, K Dot revealed plans for a forthcoming tour for the new record, hinted at a round of collegiate lectures, weighed in on Lil Wayne's place in the MC hierarchy, praised Earl Sweatshirt as his favorite rapper, declared "For Free" as his favorite TPAB cut, gave Iceberg Slimsome shine for influencing the name of the record and just generally showed love and gratitude towards his fans for holding him down as the leader of the pack. And while it was certainly a rare occurrence for Compton bomber, with the levels of speculation that have risen since the album dropped, we can't help but encourage (and really, hope) that Kendrick will return to the internets once more with the answers we've all been seeking. If you're hungry for even more of the chosen K, you can always jump back to peep his verse on Kanye West's "All Day" or even relive his mobile concert on the streets of Hollywood. Scroll down to read through Kendrick Lamar's revealing AMA below and, if for some reason you have yet to do so, grab a copy of To Pimp A Butterfly on iTunes today.
