Today, however, Lamar's interviewing chops get sharpened just a bit more as he sits across from producer and all-out legend, Quincy Jones for a segment with HYPETRAK. The two music giants sat across from one another, smiles galore, going back and forth on the generational divide, tracing the roots of hip-hop, Jones' time working with Michael Jackson on Thriller and how a good song couldn't be spoiled by the worst voice, while a bad song couldn't be helped by the best. Quincy delivers his message to a generation and Kendrick receives it with giddy excitement.
