Chance The Rapper Kendrick Lamar Chicago
(Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar performing at Bonnaroo)
Chicago was treated to two of the finest young stars in hip-hop Wednesday night as Chance The Rapper brought out Kendrick Lamar to perform at his Teens In The Park festival. The event, which was free to attendees of a certain age (hint: teens and early 20-somethings), featured Chance performing numerous numbers off his recent Donny Trumpet-led album Surf before bringing Lamar our to tear through "m.A.A.d. City" and "i."
There seems to be a pattern forming. Both Chance The Rapper and Lamar performed together with Earth, Wind & Fire at Bonnaroo earlier this month, and now that last night's set is in the books, it seems that the two have a real penchant for sharing stages. Watch brief clips of both MCs performing in tandem below and keep a keen watch--this sort of thing might be becoming the norm.
