With the 2016 Grammys ceremony only weeks away, the world has been on its heels, awaiting the announcement of the evening's musical performers. Today, they've done just that, unveiling Kendrick Lamar, Adele, The Weeknd and country group, Little Big Town, will be the evening's most distinguished guests. And while we basically know what to expect from the likes of the British phenom and the year's strange-haired chart-topper, it's Lamar's performance that will, no doubt, be the most anticipated, as it could very well go in a number of different directions, none of which are a sure-shot, per se.
K Dot could use the platform to perform his conquer-all anthem "Alright" as a victory lap after winning all 11 of his nominations. Or, the more enticing option, where Kendrick continues his reign as the single greatest live-TV performer of a generation by debuting a yet another new track (perhaps "Untitled 3"?!)
That's all conjecture until we finally get there. But it won't be too long now, as The 2016 Grammys will air on February 15th on both coasts for the first time ever. Stay tuned for all of the imminent glowing and disappointment is to follow.
