Kelis dropped some new visuals for her sneak release of "Jerk Ribs", compiling behind-the-scenes footage and stills into one ill-defined hodgepodge of a video. The visuals attempt to expound on the now soul-review focused Kelis, draped in 60's era garb, looking more Marvelettes than Neptunes. While the Dave Sitek produced throwback is more than on-point with its big horns and walking bass, the visual lacks continuity and a unifying theme, making you wonder why they even bothered.
On the brighter and heartier side of things, the former first lady of StarTrak has a cooking show in the works and it seems promising. Focusing on the raspy wonder's culinary exploits, the show --entitled "Saucy And Sweet"-- will air on the Cooking Channel as of February 26th.
