Kaytranada & Anderson .Paak's Trippy New Video Will Have You "Glowed Up"
Surely you saw this coming. Saw (and heard) that there are simply no more prevalent influences in 2016 than the rhythmic rasp of Anderson .Paak and the supreme sonic selector, Kaytranada. Saw that Paak was slated for yet another potent feature on Kaytra's forthcoming 99.9% LP and put all these things together, realizing we were due. Well, dear friends, whether you foresaw the arrival or not, Kaytra and Paak's 99.9% collaboration has landed as a righteously minimalistic follow-up to their previous creative collision on Malibu's "Lite Weight."
"Glowed Up" and its fittingly tripped-out visual treatment certainly hark back to the breeziness of Malibu, but with an even more stripped-down approach with sparse synth trills and a hard knock that should prove to be excellent dance-floor fodder. You can watch as Kaytranada's "Glowed Up" comes to life in the clip below, just be sure to clear your schedule this summer, as he makes rounds on the festival circuit, the dates for which are listed just under the player.
