Over the past year or so, Kali Uchis has emerges as the left-field's most promising vocalist with a voice uncommon and a vintage aesthetic. That combo has landed her on recent collaborations with Tyler The Creator ("Fucking Young" and "Yellow") and GoldLink ("Divine"), which has been the perfect bait to entice a stud-loaded cast of producers for her recently released Por Vida EP, boasting lush and soulful chops from BADBADNOTGOOD, Kaytranada and the aforementioned Odd Future figurehead. Today, she's let loose a gritty and fun new clip for her latest single "Rush," directed by herself and longtime friend WISSA.
