Sources close to the late rapper have shared they believe he was profiled by the police on more than one occasion.

Juice Wrld's shocking death has undoubtedly left the music industry in mourning. Now, his close friends allege the search which took place prior to his death could have been racially charged due to police profiling.

Sources close to the rapper have shared with TMZ that cops have profiled the young, Black artist on numerous occasions. Friends in his "inner circle" also said the run-ins he had with cops have happened at multiple airports. Additionally, they believe it "might well have something to do with race and rappers." They don't see these instances as one-off situations.

Just last year, Juice WRLD was arrested at NYC's La Guardia Airport, according to law enforcement sources. Officers arrested him after responding to a call for "prohibited items" which included a small amount of marijuana and bottles of codeine cough syrup. TMZ reports he was "initially charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance." Yet he was able to walk away with a lesser, non-criminal offense, the case has also been sealed.

In November while at LAX, police conducted a search of his private jet in Los Angeles ahead of a trip to Sydney, Australia. Drug-sniffing dogs were used during this search and he was able to make his trip. It's unclear if anything was found.

Juice WRLD and his entourage were subjected to another search prior to his death earlier this week. 70 pounds of marijuana, three firearms and bottles of codeine cough syrup were reportedly found by police. Sources allege he had planned a massive party to celebrate his 21st birthday. He allegedly took Percocet pills before suffering from a fatal seizure.
