Joey Bada$$ has had one of the most extravagant starts to a young career one could possibly imagine. He's graced stages with The Roots, landed on tracks produced by hip-hop royalty (J Dilla, DJ Premier and Statik Selektah, just to name a few) and toured every corner of the country with his Pro Era crew. The latest stop on his boundlessly fruitful journey has brought him B-Real's domain, namely The Smoke Box. Seeing as how a session between the gangsta white walls of the Cypress Hill alum's Caddy has come to be known as a sort of right of passage amongst his kuch-kissing contemporaries, Badmon gladly took his seat in the smoker's chamber. The duo chatted it up over Pro Era's dawn as the heirs to Brooklyn's hip-hop throne and how young Joey has taken his lead to guide the rest of the crew through the industry like a beacon for prosperity. They touch on his musical beginnings the critically adored B4DA$$ LP and, of course his favorite strains of herbal. If you've yet to cop Joey Bada$$' debut LP, do yourself a favor and grab a copy on iTunes today. Watch Joey Bada$$ and B-Real burn it down on The Smokebox below.
