Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show crew are out west enjoying some r&r on The Blessed Coast this week, which was obviously the perfect excuse to channel the Fresh Prince for a proper cold open. While we all know who the freshest prince is, Fallon's take on the show's opening theme found the whole Roots crew and even the true-blue Jazzy Jeff all playing a part in the on-point rehash, which gives a little context to the westward journey. We'll take Willy from Philly over Jimmy almost any day, but you can probably imagine the sense of glee the Illa Fifth had in remaking this hometown favorite. Watch out for Carlton (doing the Carlton, duh) in his first television appearance since making a short case out of Dancing With The Stars and taking home the chip for, well, being Carlton. If the first installment of "The Tonight Show Goes To La-La Land" is any indication of what to expect, we'll be waking up to all kinds of rib-ticklers this week. Watch Jimmy Fallon & The Roots reimagine The Fresh Prince opening below and keep it locked for all the goodies as they continue their LA run all week long.
