Jessie Ware Is Joined By Jesse Boykins III On A Lovely Three Song Set For NPR's Tiny Desk Set
Jessie Ware & Jesse Boykins III had an intimate musical collision on a recent stop at NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, where they turned three of Ware's numbers into moody, emotional duets. Boykins, who is currently opening for Ware on tour, added a burley bass tone to the vocal arrangements, spanning three tracks; "Say You Love Me," "Champagne Kisses" and "Wildest Moments." Accompanied by a lone, whispery guitar, the duo make for a lovely pairing and offer a brief glimpse at what those across the pond stand to experience at their live show, which will be making the festival rounds in Europe this summer.
