Watch Jay Z Perform His Heartwarming Blue Ivy Tribute "Glory" w/ A Full Orchestra In A New Video

Though it seems like only days ago, a lot's changed since 2012. Think about it; we're no longer dreading the world's end will suddenly be realized at 12:12 on December 12th, weed is completely legal in two states and the rap-game's once most eligible bachelor Jay Z has a baby girl named Blue Ivy, who is now getting just as much shine as either of her parents. But if you recall, we were first introduced to young Carter just two days after her birth, on Hov's touching Neptunes-helmed ode to his daughter "Glory" which featured a sample of her very first cries. Today, (thanks the weird and wild ways of the internets) we have the opportunity to observe a rare moment -- captured in the rehearsals for his epic Carnegie Hall performance -- in which Jay and a full orchestral accompaniment blaze through the heartwarmer live and direct. And while this writer would personally take the clean studio take of the track over this particular live treatment, the clip offers a peak at some of the personnel on board for the momentous occasion, including bassist Adam Blackstone and our very own Questlove, amongst what must have been 20 or 30 other players, just as they all took to that legendary stage. Watch Jay Z and a full orchestra perform "Glory" live from the rehearsal room below.
