JAY-Z and NFL Launch Inspire Change Initiative With Meek Mill and Rapsody

The NFL is launching apparel and Songs of the Season through its social justice platform.

More details have been revealed in connection to JAY-Z's NFL deal.

Meek Mill, Rapsody, and singer Meghan Trainor have signed on as the NFL’s first Inspire Change advocates. The artists are set to perform a free concert at Chicago’s Grant Park on Sept 5 as a part of the “NFL Kickoff Experience.” According to Page 6, part of the performances will reportedly be featured in a 40-minute pregame show from Chicago on NBC and the NFL Network.

The NFL will also reportedly launch an apparel line called “Inspire Change” and an initiative called “Songs of the Season.”

The apparel describes as “a new social enterprise model,”  is supposed to fund and support Inspire Change programs across the country. According to a press release, Songs of the Season is a “multi-tier season-long initiative” that will feature established stars and emerging artists with songs to be integrated into NFL promo during the season. All proceeds from the songs will go toward Inspire Change.
