Janelle Monáe x Miguel - "PrimeTime"
Janelle Monáe and Miguel's "PrimeTime" gets the remix treatment from producers Chloe Martini and Kastle with a pair of standup reworks that take this track from the bedroom to the dancefloor. Martini drops a slow burning track that throws back to boo-loving r&b classics like Jodeci's "Cry For You" and Dru Hill's "Beauty" (Remix). Kastle takes a totally polar approach, chopping the original into something more along the lines of Robin S' "Show Me Love." Both takes, however, manage to successfully preserve the integrity of the original while producing an impressive set of results.
