The bones of The Analogue Girl's Madlib-crafted tribute to J Dilla are barely visible, except for the familiar and haunting chant that runs through the track. The Blessed Coast's captain of turntablism inserts touches of grand piano, strings and Jay Dee's vocal chops to accent Badula's chant, which remains slightly off-key, building the displacing, sort of unsettling vibe of the track.
