GTA 5 soundtrack: Clams Casino - "Crystals"
The latest jam to drop off this GTA 5 soundtrack is Clams Casino's "Crystals" beat (I guess there are vocals in there somewhere but I almost got lost forever trying to find the source, let alone hear what they were saying. This thing sounds like Santigold falling down an abandoned mine shaft into caverns measureless to man and shit). If you are not already rampaging around the world of Grand Theft Auto like Charlie Sheen after smoking dilithium crystals, this GTA 5 soundtrack is apparently determined to get you there--at least if you're a serious music head. First came the recruitment of Alchemist, Oh No and Tangerine Dream to work on the score, then the announcement of a whole virtual reality radio empire populated with Pam Grier and FlyLo FM fantasy stations. And now they are releasing Clams Casino beats as singles. Maybe we should just fast forward to the day when the traditional functions of record labels and terrestrial radio are entirely taken over by video game soundtracks. 'Cause god knows somebody needs to take a flamethrower to this half-assed industry--even if its a simulated flamethrower. Listen below and cop GTA 5 if pretending to blow up virtual strip clubs (and such like activities) is your thing.
