Grammy-Winning Producer Detail Arrested on 15 Sexual Assault Charges

Detail's bail has been set at $6 million.

Grammy Award-winning producer Detail was arrested on 15 charges of sexual assault on Wednesday, August 5th, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. On July 31st, Detail, real name Noel Christopher Fisher, was charged with the sexual assault charges and five counts of felony assault that occurred between 2010 and 2018. Detail's bail has been set at $6 million.

Detail's attorney, Irwin Mark Bledstein, responded to the arrest via emails sent to Associated Press. He wrote:

"Mr. Fisher was just arrested some hours ago and I have not had an opportunity to speak to him or look at the charges. I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations."

Over the last couple of years, more details about Detal's alleged predatory behavior has come to light. So far, six women have spoken publicly about his behavior. In 2018, two artists said Detail repeatedly raped them in front of other people, manipulated them daily, and once assaulted them both for six hours straight.

Last September, one of those women won a $15 million lawsuit against Detail. Other, notable names have also revealed horror stories about Detail, including Tinashe, Jessie Reyez, and Bebe Rexha. Reyez revealed that her 2017 single “Gatekeeper” was inspired by an incident she once had with Detail early on in her career.

Detail has maintained his innocence.

Detail is best known for producing Beyonce's smash "Drunk in Love," which features JAY-Z. Detail won a grammy for that song in 2015. Detail has also produced songs for Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Future, Jennifer Lopez, Gucci Mane, and more.
