Goldyard Are Literal Rap Killers In New "Naomi" Video

Goldyard has released a new video for their track "Naomi."

The video finds Goldyard members A.T. and In-Doe rapping throughout different locations, as a story unfolds in which the two artists kill someone and throw their body into a lake.

Taken from their forthcoming project F**k Culture 3 "Naomi" features a guest appearance from Scotty ATL, and production from Cousin Dan.

However, the track gets its name from Naomi Lavender, a singer-songwriter and guitarist that contributed vocals to the song.

"It was pretty naked at the time, just Naomi singing and just playing a guitar, but the vibe was there," In-Doe said in an interview with Creative Loafing. "We knew we had to have it. And Scotty ATL is the homie, so when we showed him what we had he was on board."

In the same interview In-Doe also explained the meaning behind "Naomi," which reflects what the music video seems to be about.

"It's about the harsh realities you face coming up, when you're not doing everything by the book," In-Doe said. "Naomi is mixed up in the same things we are. She's our secret weapon when it comes to doing dirt and setting people up."

"Naomi" serves as the latest track to be released from the group's F**k Culture 3 which drops some time in February. Prior to that there was "W's," which has become something of an anthem for the Atlanta Falcons (another one of the group's song, "They're Making Too Much Noise," has also been playing during Falcons games).

This year's Super Bowl is happening on February 5 (Sunday), and will have the Atlanta Falcons against the New England Patriots. Lady Gaga will be serving as the musical performer for the game's halftime show.
