Raekwon & Bilal Back Up Ghostface Killah On Their New Posse Cut "Resurrection Morning"

Only eight days sit between us and Ghostface Killah's brand new LP 12 Reasons To Die pt II, which has been entirely produced by analog renaissance man Adrian Younge and features one of the most impressive list of features this side of Piñata. Now, perhaps the most star-studded track on the entire record has emerged--the Raekwon and Bilal-assisted cut "Resurrection Morning." Over an old west piano loop and gently wafting cymbals, we hear Bilal croon at us from the other side of a crime scene as Ghostface enters, tossing daggers. Things quickly cut to Raekwon, who sounds right at home trading bars with his Wu-Tang classmate over such a deep groove. As ray gun synthesizers dart low in the mix, we're slowly brought out of all the haze by Bilal before you know it, "Resurrection Morning" is gone and we're left wondering--was it ever really here in the first place? The smoky noir is strong on this one, and that's about all we're certain of.

In addition to Raekwon and Bilal, Ghostface Killah will be joined by 12 Reasons to Die II will feature RZA, Lyrics Born, Scarub, Vince Staples and Chino XL, making it one of the most star-studded releases of the summer, to be sure. Listen to "Resurrection Morning" below and pre-order yourself a copy of 12 Reasons To Die II on iTunes before it officially drops July 10th.
