It appears July 20th has come and gone without even the trace of a new record from Frank Ocean, who got our blood to boil and our to brains bug-out earlier this year with the announcement of a new record and magazine slated for a July delivery. But the news isn't all bad. It's given cats like Major Lazer some time to churn out a little rework of Frank's channel orange stand-out "Lost" with some island-y vibes attached and MØ on the vocal. And while it certainly is not what any of us were looking for in terms of new Frank Ocean, it is a little something to help us bide our time before the imminent drop of the summer, which could land at any moment. For those waiting, the good news lays in the fact that Frank's booked for a show at LA's Sports Arena for FYF Festival on August 22nd, which points to new material at least between now and then.
