Fla: Red Bull Thre3style National Finals in Orlando (6/21-6/23)

I'm heading out to Orlando in the AM to check out the Red Bull The3style National Finals. I've been to a few installments of the Red Bull Big Tune Beat Battle (which are dope), but I'm new to this more DJ based event. This isn't so much a technical competition as much as it is about showcasing your ability to move the crowd. The format has the 10 remaining DJs (check past mixes here) perform a 15 minute set that must contain at least three different musical genres which will be judged on track selection, creativity, mixing skills, stage presence, and audience reaction.The event will also feature judging and special performances by Jermaine Dupri, Mick Boogie, and DJ Nu Mark.The winner will walk away with the coveted title of Red Bull Thre3style U.S. Champion, which includes bragging rights, $3,000 and a chance to compete against the worlds best DJs at the Red Bull Thre3style International Finals in Chicago this September.
