Erykah Badu's Debut Album Receives First-Ever Vinyl Reissue

You’ve been rocking with the analog girl in the digital world ever since her 1997 debut, Baduizm. But Erykah Badu‘s classic introduction has just hit wax in-full for the first time ever. Hard to believe, but it’s true. The izm has never been released in its entirety on vinyl, but thanks to UMe’s Respect The Classics campaign, you can finally catch the full script from between the dust and grooves, chock full of early Soulquarian contributions from The Rootsthe late Richard Nichols and jazz giant Ron Carter

Along with Baduizm, the Miss E. Badu’s sophomore album, Mama’s Gun, has also been reissued on 2xLP vinyl, featuring the likes of J Dilla, Pino Palladino, Stephen Marley and Vikter Duplaix.
