UPDATE: For those that didn't plug-in for the live stream, you can now preview Erykah Badu's new single "Phone Down" in a candid clip from the shoot. Watch out for the official drop on Monday via Soundcloud.

Though she's long been known as the Analog Girl, you have to admit, Erykah Badu has adapted pretty damn well to the digital world. She's turned Twitter into her own little congregation, capitalized on the meme-per-minute millennial M.O. with a lush update on Drake's smash "Hotline Bling" and in the wee hours of this morning, she announced that her second single will be arriving today, but in a highly unconventional way.

At 4:00PM PST (7:00PM EST) today (Nov. 5), Miss Badula will be live-streaming the filming of a music video for an as-yet-to-be-named new single off her forthcoming mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone on Periscope for all the world to see. All of which seems to be pointing to making good on a promise she made in a recent interview, where she stated that the aforementioned mixtape would be arriving this week.

Details are still slim, but you can keep an eye on her Twitter feed for updates as she brings you the heat live and direct from Las Vegas. Hold tight, folks. There's only a few more days left in the work week, which means we could be seeing Erykah Badu's new project any moment now...
