Not sure how this flew under the radar til now but quiet as kept, Erykah Badu is set to perform at the Brooklyn Academy of Music tomorrow Saturday, June 8th and Sunday June 9th--with the full Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra backing her (!) as she performs songs from her album New Amerykah Part One: 4th World War, along with new works from Brooklyn-based composer Ted Hearne. No idea how many tickets may be left at this late date, but it definitely sounds like an experience not to be missed so find flyer, details and ticket links below and throw up a Hail Mary. I mean Hail Erykah!
