Earl Sweatshirt & Knxwledge Connect On A Short & Sweet Adult Swim Single

Adult Swim‘s summer singles campaign has been raging for months now, with the promise of an Earl Sweatshirt and Knxwledge collaboration dangling over our heads like meat for music lovers. Today, their link-up sees the light as “Balance” is officially released as the campaign’s thirteenth single. Recently, the duo was seen keeping Action Bronson company on the rapper-turned-internet-sensation’s Traveling The Stars program on VICELAND (definitely worth a sober or faded eye if you’ve yet to do so.) But here Earl and Knxw are on their A-game with a short and sweet showing, providing infinite vibes on an uber-smooth sonic suite that finds Earl unpacking his hallmark verbal density, waxing introspective over his return to weed’s wildly wonderful world and the racial politics that consume him therein.

Both Earl Sweatshirt and Knxwledge have highly anticipated releases en route; Knxwledge’s NxWorries masterpiece and Earl’s follow-up to the 2015’s I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. Here’s just a reminder of what we can hopefully expect. Adjust your “Balance” with the latest from the duo and keep your ear to the ground for more in the weeks and months ahead.
