Earl Sweatshirt Drops 2 (Kind Of) New Tracks

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Earl Sweatshirt celebrates the launch of his new Soundcloud account with some kinda new heat. While its certainly the first we've heard of these cuts, the tracks apparently date back to 2012 according to the track titles, which also give us a pretty good idea as to the circumstances revolving around their recording. Take for instance the Mac Miller and Vince Staples assisted lead-off "*NEBRASKA MM VS. ES* 9/6/12" where the two young guns can be found putting up their verbal dukes over a break-less beat, full of swirling piano licks, electric horns and a rumbling subby low-end. The second offering "SONG FROM 2012 HIGH 6AM RAMBLING AT THE 5TH" is a full load of 808s and shiny synth pads on a dark subversive joint, ripe for those late night blow-downs. Listen to two new gifts from Earl & Co below. Keep it locked for more from the young OFWGKA cohort.
